What is Bearfoot Volleyball?
Bearfoot Volleyball is Awesome! No really, It is! But seriously, Bearfoot Volleyball is all about the game. It is the desire to deliver players the best outdoor experience possible in a fun environment. Our Juniors Divisions play 2-on-2 doubles in the U12, U14, U16 or U18 age groups. The emphasis on “beach” style play is rooted in the skill set each player should master for the indoor game as well. It is equally important to have good hitting, setting, passing and blocking skills. Communication between players is essential to creating a winning team. Music, sun, volleyball and even playing under the lights awaits players of all ages. Bearfoot Volleyball is a unique experience that will keep you coming back every season.
Why Should I Play With Bearfoot Volleyball?
Bearfoot Volleyball was born, and grew quickly, due to the unique spin Bearfoot has put on the concept of outdoor volleyball. Bearfoot events and leagues aren’t just about the game, though our focus is on the growth of the sport. Our events are for the whole family, we welcome family and friends. We encourage and empower players to take charge of their volleyball experience, players (and tournament staff when needed) make the calls on the court. While we love our Bearfoot parents, we ask them to take a break and enjoy the games while allowing their players to handle the calls, and questions that come along with any tournament, themselves. Don’t be fooled by the fact that we play on grass. Our competition is fierce! Bearfoot players are expected to bring their “A” game while maintaining a very healthy dose of sportsmanship.
Do you have a junior that’s excited about some outdoor volleyball? How about tournaments? How about leagues?!? We offer as much as you can handle!
